Mel Morris

Mel commenced with Elders in 2023 and is a Wool Agent based at Elders Launceston. She supports wool producers from Bothwell to Launceston and right across Tasmania.

Mel has a wealth of knowledge and expertise, gathered across her 26 years of experience as a wool classer. She has served as a wool handling trainer for eight years and has been a competitive wool handler for 14 years.

Her enthusiasm for the natural fibre industry is evident in Mel's work. She actively promotes and supports the industry in any way she can, recognizing the importance of our nature fibre. Mel firmly believes that providing exceptional service to clients is paramount in the business. She understands that it is the small things that make the biggest difference and strives to go above and beyond for her clients.

In her spare time, Mel is a dedicated supporter of the Carlton Football Club and enjoys watching cricket. She also has a passion for sea fishing and camping, often embarking on outdoor adventures with her family and friends or enjoying a more relaxed weekend, exploring the many vineyards throughout Tasmania.
