District Wool Manager

Claire Loveridge

Claire commenced with Elders in 2017 and is a Wool Agent/District Wool Manager based at Cummins. She supports wool producers from Cleve to Streaky Bay and Wudinna.

Claire’s journey in the wool industry began in shearing sheds at the age of 18, taking her to Norway and New Zealand. In 2011, she obtained her wool classing certificate, continuing to class and work across the Eyre Peninsula. She was approached by Elders across the wool table while classing a client's wool clip,

Claire thrives on the ever-changing nature of her role, supporting clients through both challenges and victories, inspired by the resilience and perseverance of Eyre Peninsula farmers. She firmly believes that wool is the ultimate fibre and takes pride in her contribution to the industry.

Claire's unique selling proposition stems from her upbringing on a family sheep farm, where she learned the importance of maximizing productivity through wool cut, quality, and selecting the most suitable animals for clients' properties.

The most fulfilling aspect of Claire's role is aiding growers in achieving their wool objectives. With Elders' new facility and a dedicated team on the ground at Ravenhall, Claire is able to offer clients a comprehensive end-to-end service, ensuring their needs are met every step of the way.

In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time at the beach with family and friends, riding her horse, and pottering around her little acreage.
