Tim Shepherd

Tim commenced with Elders in 2022 and is a Wool Agent/ District Wool Manager based at Elders Burra. He supports wool producers in South Australia from the mid-north to, and across, the Yorke Peninsula.  

Having grown up on his family’s fat lamb producing property, Tim's early fascination with sheep evolved into a profound appreciation for wool production during his tenure at Nyowee Poll Merino stud. He also has diverse background in the stud industry and contracting.  

In his current role with Elders, Tim enjoys conducting shed visits, connecting with producers, and engaging closely with his client base to understand their unique requirements. His depth of experience allows him to navigate the complexities of the supply chain and cater to the individual needs and expectations of his clients.

The most gratifying aspect of Tim's role is being involved in every step of the wool process - from harvest to sale. Providing guidance on test results, offering strategic marketing options, and witnessing the successful outcomes for clients brings him immense satisfaction.

In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time working on the farm and catching up with friends.
